In short
Since 2016 I have been a tenured professor of Mathematics and Physics at the scientific high school. Since September 2019 I have been part of the MIUR Territorial Training Team for the Lombardy Region in Italy. I live near Brescia in Italy.
Educational experiences
After having obtained the scientific maturity at the State Scientific High School “A. Calini” of Brescia, I graduated in Mathematics, in physics-computer application address with a grade of 110/110.
I obtained the qualifications (with ordinary TFA) to teach in the competition class A049 – Mathematics and Physics with a score of 97/100, in ADSS – Didactic support for pupils with disabilities in upper secondary school with 28/30 and in the class of competition A059 – Mathematics and Science in lower secondary school with 98/100.
I specialized in the management of difficult adolescent problems at the University of Florence.
Since 2003 I have obtained the IFTS title in Technician for Communication and Multimedia and in 2012 the European EPICT license.
I have been an EPICT facilitator since 2013.
Since April 2019 I have been enrolled in the Register of qualified trainers for teachers in the province of Brescia.
I became tenured after passing all six 2016 ordinary competitions relating to my qualification classes (A027 – Mathematics and Physics, A026 – Mathematics, ADSS – Didactic support for pupils with disabilities in secondary school, A047 – Applied mathematics , A028 – Mathematics and Science in lower secondary school, A020 ??- Physics) and among these I chose to teach in the competition class A027 – Mathematics and Physics.
Some of my best formative memories refer to the three ITP schools at CERN in Geneva, the PID training at the INFN in Legnaro, the summer schools with the AIF and the international experience at ESA.
Some of these have been training courses on Physics teaching, with limited selection and scholarships, which have given me a lot.
Job Experience
Since 2019 I have been teaching Mathematics and Physics at the Liceo Scientifico di Stato “A. Calini” in Brescia, for an indefinite period.
I am part of the school’s digital team.
I am a member of the Miur Territorial Training Team, for the Lombardy region, in order to promote digital innovation and innovative methodologies in schools and actions related to the national digital school plan.
My experience is in the most diverse sectors, from that of communication to that of multimedia, but my most important field of activity is linked to Didactic.
After several assignments in first and second grade state secondary schools, I was a company tutor and teacher in ESF courses.
I dealt with didactic consultancy for the writing of texts of Mathematics, Physics and Sciences for the secondary school of first and second grade.
For a long time I have been interested in pedagogical research and didactic innovation (especially with the use of technologies) in the school environment.
I taught three years in state lower secondary schools, one year in a state vocational institute, six years at a regional vocational training center, where I was also a didactic, internship and coordination tutor, one year in an equal school of first and second grade and ten years in public state high schools.
As a referent of the Institute for the prevention and fight against bullying and cyber-bullying, I collaborated, at the scientific high school, for the scholastic well-being of the students and for the drafting of the Institute e-policy, for several years.
I was a trainer for teachers on digital teaching and inclusion, speaker at conferences, including those of the Erickson Study Center and Incontri con la Matematica (Castel San Pietro Terme).
Collaborations and involvement
I was personally involved in the drafting of the didactic cards of the Parole O’Stili manual for secondary school.
My strengths are the structuring and implementation of project based learning, problem based learning, service learning, flipped classroom and civic education, with particular reference to digital citizenship, in high schools.
I was a teacher and a member of AniTel, Diesse, AICA, UCIIM: I am involved in innovative teaching with digital technologies.
I collaborated as a specialist and author in 2015 for the Erickson Study Center on the volume of support for the facilitation of study and school inclusion “A look at the sciences” textbook of Sciences for the lower secondary school published by Rizzoli.
I wrote the book “History and didactics of Mathematics” published by Aracne Editrice in 2016, to help teachers in teaching Mathematics in lower and upper secondary schools.
I contributed as author to several volumes on the use of new technologies for school inclusion, on reflection in the teaching of Mathematics and Physics.
In 2003 I obtained a master’s degree in Missionary Pastoral. I am very sensitive to Intercultural issues, volunteering in youth groups, inclusion and support for the weakest and most fragile realities of society. I collaborate in the online editorial staff of the Missione OGGI magazine.
I belong to the ITP Focal Points of CERN and I feel very close to the INDIRE Educational Avant-garde Movement and to the network of Schools of Peace.
I write for Bricks, AICA and SIe-L magazine.
I love nature and animals, physics and computer science, silence, psychology research very much.
I actively support many associations that deal with issues that are most important to me.
